Develop thoughtful, practical programmes with AAGarden.

AAGarden works with organisations developing programmes around horticulture, green space, Creative Health and community participation.

Our experience includes work with international students, newcomers, multilingual communities, older adults and local residents, while our approach can be adapted to different communities, settings and programme aims.

We can join a project at an early stage, strengthen an existing programme, or take responsibility for a defined area of delivery.

Keep the connection going beyond the session.

Become an AAGarden Participation Partner

AAGarden helps partners extend participation into everyday life, giving people a way to record what they do, see their progress, reconnect with activities and places, and continue between sessions.

As a partner, your programme becomes part of a wider participation system designed to keep that connection alive over time.

Where AAGarden can add value

Programme design & development

We help translate an idea, funding objective or organisational priority into a programme that can actually be delivered.

This can include shaping the participant journey, programme structure, delivery format, use of place and approach to engagement. The result is a programme with a clear purpose, practical structure and realistic route to delivery.

Participation & community engagement

We help partners think beyond attendance and consider how people encounter, enter and participate in a programme.

Our experience of multilingual and cross-cultural delivery can be particularly useful where organisations are working with diverse communities or developing more accessible forms of engagement. Participation can be designed into the programme from the beginning rather than added at the end.

Evaluation & learning

We can build proportionate evaluation into programme delivery rather than treating it as a separate exercise at the end.

Depending on the project, this may combine participation data, participant feedback, qualitative insight and structured outcome measures. Partners can use this learning to understand what happened, strengthen future delivery and support reporting or future development.

Delivery & facilitation

AAGarden can take responsibility for delivering horticulture, green-space and Creative Health programmes, either independently or as part of a wider partnership.

We bring together session planning, facilitation, participant communication and day-to-day programme coordination. Our work is informed by Social & Therapeutic Horticulture while remaining responsive to the people, place and purpose of each project.

Green space & place

AAGarden can help organisations make stronger use of gardens, parks, allotments and other green spaces within a programme.

Rather than using a green space simply as a backdrop, we look at how the place itself can contribute to participation, learning, familiarity and continuity. This can support projects across community development, Creative Health, education, public engagement and place-based work.

Digital Participation & Network

AAGarden is building a digital participation network that connects activities, places and participation over time.

Partners can bring existing programmes, green spaces or community activities into the network, or work with us to develop new connected experiences. The aim is to help participation continue beyond a single event and create stronger links between people, programmes and places.
